About Jotham Turyamubona

A Journey of Disciplined Engineering & Continuous Learning

I am a professional software engineer specializing in building high-performance web applications, scalable backend systems, and automated agentic environments. With a strong foundation in modern web standards and protocols, I design software architectures that balance user experience with engineering efficiency.

Based in Kabale, Uganda, my workflow is built on a simple premise: technical parity on a global scale. In the digital economy, location is secondary to execution capability. Over the last four years, I have worked with international clients to deliver production-grade products, refactor legacy monolithic architectures into decoupled microservices, and design row-level security (RLS) layers for real-time applications.

My expertise spans the entire TypeScript ecosystem (including React, Node.js, and Vite), relational databases such as PostgreSQL (Supabase), serverless hosting pipelines, and containerization using Docker. I actively write about technical systems, performance optimization, and cryptography on my blog to help bridge the knowledge gap for emerging developers.

Whether it's auditing cumulative layout shifts (CLS) to achieve perfect 100/100 Lighthouse scores, setting up secure JWT authorization flows using the browser's native WebCrypto API, or containerizing multi-tier web applications for stable deployment environments, I approach every project with rigorous standards of quality and maintainability.
